How To Reassess Your Chess, a new club

We were talking about which book would be suited to learn strategical play. We were not able if we should take How To Reassess Your Chess by Silman or Simple Chess by Michael Stean.

We decided to start with two different clubs. We are invited to join us. To participate you need an exemplar of the book.

We still have to decide how exactly to proceed. Important is to begin, right? Let's see how stronger players make their decisions about plans, how to identify weak squares or weak pawns, how to find the best squares for the figures, all the stuff that we weak players (below 1800) do not understand well.
