It's a matter of understanding that my frustration at losing stupidly is directly related to either my lack of concentration, my poor preparation, or both.

In bygone years, I have damaged hotel furniture and drunk to excess.  Neither did me any good on the tournament score, but they both gave me the opportunity to meet some very nice police officers.

Would you like the name of my therapist?

GagHalfrunt

I also have a punchbag next to my chessboard or kick the cat

AlCzervik

Cats and dogs are sacred here, Gag. Men wearing collars, not so much.

GagHalfrunt

But I am a woman!

AlCzervik

I don't know if my therapist could help you there.

How to remain calm when losing? Just fart it out. And all is well.

I tried playing golf to relax but  golfers are even more weird than chessplayers. they do not even allow colorful clothes when you play

AlCzervik

I can assure you they do.

GagHalfrunt

AlCzervik

Golf can go either way. It's relaxing when you have a good round but there's nothing worse than spending 4 and a half hours zigzagging through trees in the rain when you know the round should take 3 hours.

As for bright colours, all Scotsmen play in bright tartan trousers than go to the knee with a matching bonnet. Everyone knows that.

konhidras

Has there ever been a naked golf tourney?

GagHalfrunt

this is good

GagHalfrunt

scottish golfers

AlCzervik

It can also be relaxing, and fun, when you don't have a good round. I completely agree that slow rounds suck.

But, most that play it love the challenge of it, and one of the challenges is trying to figure out how to score when in the trees.

AlCzervik

What a nice hijack! I don't need to start another thread!

Golf courses seemed to be a problem in our country. Coz it needs large hectares of land which for other people could be useful for  housing projects. For me, i dont really get it...sinking a 2inch diameter ball in a hectare of land.
