Hi everyone. I'm still new at Chess.com, though I've played some games, and practice with the computer a lot, and analyze my games. I want to develop a little before going right out into a bunch of real players, because I'm quite nervous because of my brain injury.
Anyhow, I'm still learning how to use Chess.com's list of many features, and one that I don't know yet, I could really use right now.
I was learning about the Jaenisch Gambit opening for black if white sets up the Ruy Lopez with you. I learned a few responses to typical moves, but then the computer did something probably pretty good (as in not some crazy reply that doesn't make sense), and it was different than I've practiced.
So I tried a few different ways to respond to this new response from white, but found myself very much on the losing end each time. I'd like to take that position that I keep getting into and see how the computer would handle it, what it would recommend?
Is there a way to set it up specifically and analyze it, trying different options in practice format, sort of?
Thanks in advance, and also for all the help so many of you are giving!
