When I play in real life against some stronger players (compared to me) I always feel as if they are invincible. I know they are not because I win sometimes. But I always feel under pressure as if their moves are stronger than mine.
Even when I get an advantage I feel like it is useless.
I think I lose more often than I should because of the way I consider my moves inferior.
How can I be more confident about the way I play?
How do you know they are stronger? Have you lost to them 10 times in a row or do you just look at their rating?
Your experience here should teach you that published ratings are often very inaccurate guide to a player's current strength.
At any rate, it is useful to suspect that your opponents are making moves with purpose and to have doubts about your calculations for your own plans. If you were somehow able to lose that feeling, you would stop worrying about their moves and you would probably lose even more.
Examples would be useful.
