CementHead is a lot like dystterrab. Mentally challenged with nothing to ever say and always a post count in the thousands.
How to stop ::redacted for name and shame:: from spamming the tactics trainer?

Man, I don't get it. There is never any useful info in the TT comments. I don't even know what could be useful. What he's doing is at least useful for himself. Why anyone bothers to track tt comments is beyond me.

The comments there are total crap as far as being meaningful. Half the time some airhead asking why some obvious other mistaken move wasn't as good. Another goodly percentage claiming the rating of problem is too high (even though the problem rating is achieved by how well people collectively score on solving the problem, not arbitrarily assigned.)
The rest are just friendly social comments with no useful learning value to them whatsoever.
Some of you chess people are strange.

I don't even know what could be useful.

These are the useful comments. Especially when helpful people come along to answer those questions instead of sit on their high horse and consider anyone that doesn't see what they saw an airhead. The questions and answers will sit there as a reference for anyone else that comes along and makes the same mistakes. The ones that ask why they missed a tactic are the ones who will get better. If they can't figure it out on their own they can reference the comments explaining the tactics of the puzzle. But when the comments section is clogged up with individuals posting their rating stats, and other content that is irrelevant to the puzzle itself, people are less inclined to participate in a discussion of the tactics involved in the puzzle, and in the event that a tactical discussion still does take place, the relevant information is more diffucult to find for those who need help seeing the point of the puzzle.

Chester6,
I don't consider them airheads for not seeing the answer, I consider them airheads because a high percentage of the time they assert that what they saw should be good too. By now anyone who frequents TT should know they are going to be wrong 99.99 percent of the time when they challenge the solution. They are either too lazy to figure out why they are wrong or hopelessly remedial and shouldn't be wasting other people's time with their ninny complaints. I can only figure that sometimes they don't even try to solve the problem over again, they simply impulsively respond with "why doesn't Qxe4 work?" Figure it out you knucklehead that's what training means.
You are apparently a kinder and gentler soul than me and suffer fools gladly.
Props to you for that.

Well, thanks, but it's just because I have been that fool all too often. I've just been able to check myself before I publicly accuse a puzzle of being wrong. There's always a perfectly reasonable answer to why someone misses a puzzle and it's perfectly acceptable for them to ask. I have found the answer in the comments several times, but sifting through all the nonsense has shown to be too time consuming for me so I just ignore them now.
This is what TT has turned into. Try finding anything of value in this crap now. Hard to NOT find one of his posts on anything.
