Being a member, you have access to extra:

tactics.png Tactics, lessons.png Lessons, Drills, and Videos.

Have a Daily game or two going on in the background, you can reference openings and with the explorer.png self analysis board you can test (& save) your lines.

Learn from your mistakes (use deep analysis to find them).

Also in the forums you'll find lot's of advice.

Play slower games, thinks about your moves, get a stronger player to look at about 5 of your games where you think slower and better.

Read books on tactics first, then positional chess.
