I have been playing chess for an year . I usually play slower time controls for improvement and I usually calculate very deeply and the games goes well but I recently started playing more blitz and bullet chess and now I can't calculate any position cause I am too lazy and I almost always play on instinct . I couldn't even do a safety check which made me lose to a friend of mine who is a 700 elo (I am 1200) . somebody please help me get back In the track. thank you.
