I’m playing this opponent who I am royally getting shellacked by.  Still his counter has read 2 hours now for 24 hours. I think I can win on time, but his counter won’t move.

You have two opponents on vacation mode.

Buddy, you were playing 3|2 Blitz, (2 second increment) of course your opponent is getting time…

If you play an opponent that premove a lot, you may feel their time is not going down or is going down slowly.

I have also had this experience. My clock tucked off seconds while the opponent’s clock did not.

I've lost a minimum of 10 games on my opponent's clock not budging, five moves my opponent made, and not one tenth of a sec getting subtracted. Seems to happen to me a lot. So much so, I googled "Chess.com suspicious clock" and found this thread.

@AkitaChess7 Did you ever find a solution to this? I've had opponents actually gaining time today and I'm baffled. My last opponent in a 10 minute match had 10:15 or so remaining.

You last games were 10|5 games. After a player makes a move 5 seconds are added to the clock. If someone plays fast enough it's perfectly possible to end with more time than you started with.
