For some reason i cant post a diagram for you guys so bear with me here. Today i was playing 15/10 ranked and this guy challenged me. I was white and this is how the game played out:
1. e4, b6
2. d4, a5
3. Ng1-Nf3, g6
4. Nb1-Nc3, h5
(I thought i was going to destroy him at this point because i had such a strong center.)
5. Bf1-Bc4, Bf8-Bh6 <--(this is the frustrating part! he basicly forces a bishop trade)
6. Bc1xBh6, Nf8xBh6
7. 0-0, Bc8-Ba6 (forcing another trade)
8.Bc4xBa6, Nb8xBa6
So at this point he has made basicly an inverted pawn structure, cleared his first row of minor pieces, and has forced a trade of all bishops. I lost this round when he was able to trap my horses from moving with his pawns, then he went wild with his queen and eventually put me into checkmate. I played him a second time, trying to defend my bishops with my queen but he defeated me likewise. If anyone could give me some advice this kind of game that would be great!
