I can’t seem to gain ELO

Not sure if you're trolling but I would say learn 2 openings for white, 2 openings for black, follow chess principles, do puzzles, and practice. Also, don't expect your rating to spike up. Monitor it over longer periods of time. I would say monitoring your rating every 1 month or 3 months is good.

Opening choice has nothing to do with gaining rating points if you don't know how to play the opening. Beginner players should focus on tactics and board vision, and the best way to do that is with open games. Theoretically complex openings like the Sicilian and 1. d4 openings should generally be avoided. Just always play 1. e4 or 1. ...e5, and then deal with whatever comes next using your own judgement. You shouldn't start to excessively learn openings until at least 800 rating.

I played the beginner 400-700 Elo bot (The Komodo one) and got checkmate in 26 moves, is that good?
