Well, I am also very excited and looking forward to seeing my chess idol, Polgar, in live action. I wish I had a big screen to watch it on. It sure beats most of the stuff they send on TV.

I'm looking forward for this as well. Rensch is amazing, even though I don't follow all of his calculations. Combined with Finegold, it's gonna be amazing. Can't wait either!

It's going to be a party at my house. Because the match broadcasts in the morning, I'm replacing the usual sports-watching party snacks with chess-piece-shaped French toast. Arranging a fruit and cheese platter in a red, white, and green tribute to the Hungarian flag.
what time control are they going to play with? bullet could be 2 or 3 minutes i think, blitz about 5-10 maybe i don't know :|

In the past they've had 3 time controls: 5 minutes, 3 minutes and 1 minute. I forget what the increment is, and of course they could always change it up given how special their players are.

jussuf i think CET is 9 hours ahead of PST so here it will start at 8am for you it will be 5pm so maybe after dinner, make a fire, light a cigar, and swirl a glass of brandy.

MDTR I think the time controls are 5min, 3min, 1min but im not sure, ive seen like 7 or 8 death matches but dont remember
