I desperately need help

im somewhat new to chess or that is too say I've started consistently play now but I've been losing to my friend over and over. I feel like I make progress little by little but I also feel like im missing something or I've skipped some sort of training or step to make everything come full circle. pls help 😭

When you try to move see if this is good or check twice if any piece is hanging and you will soon see the results

Anyways, try and just do lots of puzzles. Puzzles help you stop blundering pieces which is the first step.
