I got the impression that she voluntarily closed her account. I don`t think that she did anything so offensive to warrant any warnings. I did write to her personally but in no way did anything improper. My comments were only about this subject. I don`t always comment publicly because sometimes I have been the victim of verbal abuse.

Not sure why you people think this off-track religious discussion is relevant when you're all already basking in the ~SPICY~ presence of the Hot Sauce Devil. Get back on track please.

I am around 1000, and sometimes play agaisnt people that are my level and have 5000+ games played....

I wonder how can someone after +5000 games be still around 1000... I've played 400 games and I've got from 700 to 1000.  I hope that when I reach 5000 games I'll be at least 1500

After hundreds of games you should be at least 1700.... 1500 rating is STUPID. 1200-1300 is EVEN MORE STUPID. So, a 1000 rating....

What is stupid is your very narrow conception. It's like telling Romanians = poor and stealers. Fucking stupid statement.

I'm currently sub 1000 in blitz. I'm casual player, doing it occasional while commuting in the train with a poor internet connection on my smartphone between a full time analytic job on the road to work on  my house renewal, take care of my kids and then work on my music project.

Edit  - appologies , removed an offensive word in below

Now, take an unemployed 80 IQ who's still living in mama's house. I 'm sure he will get high rating quite soon if he dedicates his inexhaustible time pushing pawns, with his fresh mind after getting full nights, sleeping like a baby.

Not everybody is a chess nerd, nor can afford/want to be. Some people just play for pleasure, not necessary to prove they are geniuses. So stop insulting them.

No-one here (but you) has said Romanians are poor and steal. That's interesting, as it shows that your first thoughts when thinking of the word 'Romanians' is 'poor and stealers'. You are actually guilty of stereotyping more than the people you are speaking about. Only you are quite dishonest about it. You try to project an image of someone who doesn't stereotype nor judge... But your own words betray you as no-one here mentioned Romanians or what kind of people they are. Quite disgusting really, judging people who are only in a certain situation because of global prejudices and economics. I'd love to take you to a Romanian campsite and tell all the unfortunate families: Hey, this guy here thinks you're all poor and nothing but thieving dogs!

that was justly tjhe point about doing stupid stereotyping and insulting people. But, appologies . It was inelegant from me

What right do you have to tell people they should stop?

They can do what they want.  I am saying I find it extremely ridiculous.

And who are you to judge?

Well, we can all be inelegant at times... That's no great crime. I was only pulling your leg (joking) in my comment... I wasn't being serious.

Me a champion??? I've been called many things in my time but never that.  I've only ever played in one OTB tournament and I was disqualified during the 2nd round for indecent exposure.

because chess is fun, not only for the expert but also for an amateur player, they dont care if the dont improve, they are having fun with it, you dont need to improve to have fun with chess

Because when Chess becomes a form of addiction, you still keep on doing it even when it doesn't make sense. In some way it is little convenient since it is accessible thru the web and you don't need a subscription to enjoy a game.  You can actually learn from your games by going thru computer analysis after each and every game. Either people don't have the time going thru each game, don't have the motivation to improve since they can still beat other beginners with the scholar's mate, don't really care wasting their time as long as they have fun doing it!

Leon has a point lol. If you enjoy chess enough to play 1000+ games you should have put in the study time to improve past 1000. Two of my friends are below 1000 and both have 1000+ games but don't study at all. I keep telling them to play longer time controls and do tactics but they don't do either. It makes little sense being content with their rating given the time they put into it. I guess it comes down to how you view life. If I put time into something I'm going to make sure I improve at it. I guess some people simply don't care about some of their hobbies.
