Did he know Kevin Bacon?
I drew a guy who beat a guy who drew a game with Karpov in a simult

Did he know Kevin Bacon?
No, but he was engaged to somebody whose mother was allergic to bacon

Does that make me a good Chess player?

chess.com: the place where the guys who draw with guys who beat guys who draw games with Karpov come to play.
I drew against Guy West in a friendly about 10 years ago. IIRC he had won the last Vic Champs, I was up the exchange and he pulled off some crazy draw by repetition that I would never have seen coming. I was about 15 at the time, don't know if he was going easy on me...

I actually did play quite a bit of chess with a guy who took lessons from Sammy Reshevsky. And Sammy beat Emmanuel Lasker, who beat Steinitz, who was the first World Champion. So I'm practically a world Champion myself. And if the right 732.245 all die tonight, I'll be King of England tomorrow. And I like bacon
Don't you mean Queen of England? lol

Does that make me a good Chess player?
The answer to this sort of question comes down to logic.
Being an artist does not automatically make one a good chess player. However if you meant that you drew with... then
(1) If Karpov was playing to his full strength and not going easy on the simul participants, and their were no unusual incidents, and the player achieved his draw mostly by skill, then the player that drew with Karpov has some talent;
(2) If the player that beat the guy who drew with Karpov in the simul won by mostly skill, then they have some talent;
(3) If you drew with the player that beat the guy who drew with Karpov in the simul by mostly skill, then you have some talent.
People that ask this sort of question need to realise that talent is not everything, and that you need to work hard on your game to improve. So work hard, and don't worry about what other's think about you. That means that this question is moot.
I will say that despite the lack of information provided, you certainly have more talent than a player who pretends to be a Grandmaster and just uses an engine to relay moves in Live Chess.
Apart from being a cheat and cheating themselves, they also insult the players that have been working hard on their chess game and trying to improve.
I would say those players are wasting their chess talents and running the risk or just being banned and essentially, losing all of that time invested in cheating

I beat someone who drew the world champion in chess....
- I beat the someone when she was still a schoolgirl like 16 years ago
- the world champ was an ex- women world champ
- she drew one game and lost one game to the ex-world champ two or three years ago in a tournament

I drew a guy who beat a guy who drew a game with Karpov in a simult
SO HERE IS THE FACTS:
I drew a guy (in eat-as-much-as-you-can) who beat a guy (in billards) who drew a (chess) game with Karpov in a simult

1) NO ONE is better than Kasparov
2) I am better than NO ONE
1) + 2) I am better than Kasparov
Similarly, a stale crust of bread is better than nothing; nothing is better than a sure place in Heaven; therefore a stale crust of bread is better than a sure place in Heaven.
