I tend to analyze my concluded games using Chessmaster. It's pretty handy at showing me where I went wrong, even in games that I win.
I feel like I'm playing worse and worse

I feel so releived to read all these! I am in a slump now after 10 months of playing. i was around 1400, now i am around 1300! I thought for a second that maybe chess was not meant for me. i love chess though. i think i have been playing to many games and not studying enough. thank-you all for these comments. it helped me out so much!
Boy. That's me too. The more I play, the worse things seem to get. Maybe I should switch to checkers for a while...

Don't stress too much about it. I have had my fair share of continuously giving up my queens, always making the dumbest moves and I almost gave up chess completely. Just Stay Focused at all costs. I always ask myself what could happen if I do this move? Is it going to benefit my position, Is the anything else blocking this square? Just be sure to double check. Best of luck!
