I'm very aware that this is probably my worst 3 minute game I've ever played on this site, but I was very not concentrated and just playing random moves.
Nice win- but your opponent missed 10. ... Qd4 Threatening the a1 rook and adding a second threat to the e4 knight. The engines say that makes a -6.00 advantage. So your opponent did not play perfect defense. Instead, he missed a six point advantage.

Ulf Andersson was such a drawing patzer that he usually crushed his opponents in endgames to the point that Kasparov played a Nbd7 King´s Indian against him not to allow the exchange variation.
I cant think of any player who is defensive neither, Giri attacks when he can, having a lot of draws does not mean "defensive".
