I find 'win quick' gambits disgusting

I'm sorry but I can't find these insults against any large segments of the chess community. He doesn't like when people try to win using cheap tricks and he doesn't like when he sees as a trend to promote this type of playing. The only issue I have is that he lumps all gambits into this but even as an ardent gambiteer myself, I don't feel insulted in the least. Personally I like playing against a wide variety of styles... but some folks apparently don't.

Did you have a look to see how many Gambits, at least as White, I found for our gambiteer, @batgirl? I gave up looking.

Not in his earlier games. So, I will check out the latest. I would hate to make false accusations, and if I find a few, I will apologise,

Yep, a lot of his latest White games have gambit play. Expect the Morra type Gambit if you play the Sicilian as Black. So, I apologise. But, I do a bit of fact checking, as sometimes people talk the talk but do not walk the walk. They just like an argument,
I personally do not find Gambits disgusting at all, I must say.
But I do not know many, and the ones I mostly play are not considered all that unsound.
I have a favorite as Black, and it has a very bad reputation, but I would never try it a second time on anyone. as the antidote once you know it, ensures at worst for the opponent a draw.

The videos titled "How to crush your opponent with this gambit" is just trying to bring people to watch the video. It captures people's attention. Gambits are usually used for fun games. Like playing with your friend or sibling. In another situation I would use a gambit is in a bullet game because people fall for it because they don't think. If you were going to use a gambit in a chess tournament then good luck and you must have a lot of guts to do that.

I think Chess is a battle of ideas, not about crushing people.
Chess is war, my friend..

One of the most played (and most respected) openings in all of chess is a gambit.

2. c4!
MCO calls it a gambit in name only. I think that opinion is borne out by the fact that the c4 pawn is usually not grabbed.

Well maybe the pawn Should be grabbed!? QGA... a very underated defence. Just remember to let the pawn go. Develop quickly.

you should not accept QG
Sometimes it works

Karpov, Petrosian, Capa etc. could put together brilliant attacks as well... they just took a patient approach. Declaring great champions to be grinding emotionless bores... a little unfair? And Nehzathingyzov didn't even win the Soviet champs. Stereotypical.
Petrosian only attacked when it was a forced mate. Not when it would give him a huge advantage. I never said Karpov and Capa can't attack. Capa is an endgame master, Karpov is a defensive player, but can still play aggressively when necessary. Petrosian just put up a defense like iron, earning him the Nickname Iron Tigran, bur never played aggressively.
Actually, if you read a bit about him, Pertrosian's early style was very attacking. You learn a lot about good defensive techniques if you start out that way,
dude, everyone starts aggressive. In U1200-land, where I am, literally everyone tries to attack
