I used to live in Sonoma County, I used to practice law there, my home court was the Sonoma County Superior Court. I am sitting up here in Oregon now, but talking to my old friends down there, and wishing you all well during this historical, horrifying event.

My friend Mike got caught, was going to be arrested because of the ordinance but one of the cops knew him, they took him to the home that he was checking on. He didn't know about the curfew.
My son didn't know about it either . . .

The wind has returned again so more homes are burning by the minute . . . No atm, no cell phones . . .

Tuesday we Went to the house to get some clothing for the duration. . .
Gas has been turned off, so the house is cold.
Food in the fridge is getting soft . . . no electricity .
Fires are coming more into the city.
Wind is increasing the fires . . .

When you are told to evacuate do it . . .
Don't wait till it's to late . . .
When we left the only things we took were my wife's purse my wallet and the clothes on our back. . .
My bowling balls, my 20 chess sets are always in my SCION . . .
But we got out safely, by 3 am it was gridlock people trying to get to shelters . . .

My home is only a block away the mandatory evacuation area . . . Our home has electricity but no gas for heating and cooking . . . PGE said it would be at least 2 days before they can turn the gas on
but a resident has to be here so they can start the heat and water heaters . . .
So probably Friday I have to be there waiting until
the arrive . . . YAY!
Mean while new fires are starting close to the city, it's not over yet .. .. .. Keep my fingers closed .. .. ..

today for about two hours we forgot the fire.
My wife Barbara and I napped, she on the couch and I on my recliner .. Then we woke up and returned to reality . . . I had lunch, washed my clothes and took them to my son's to dry.
Gas is going to be hooked up Friday sometime maybe. . .

I just cancelled the chess class for tomorrow . . . In Santa Rosa California . . . fires all around us . . .
I and wife Barbara had to evacuate our home at 2:00 am because of two fires just a block away in our city . . . There is no electricity and lot of fires just blocks Way.
We are staying with one of my son's home that is in a safe zone for now . . . We only have the clothes on our back . . . in the car I had my 8 bowling balls and my 20 chess set. . I saved what was important, US . . .
My son Tony finally showed up, he says it was too dark at our home . . .
