Chess is a nasty game where there's almost no camaraderie and a lot of hate and bitterness.  I quit for 25 years and I'm going to quit again.

In Feb 2017 the OP posted he hated chess and yet he is still a member and was online just yesterday. I would guess he doesn't hate chess as much as he thought. happy.png

And then there's the oddity of the time between posts #21 (Feb 21, 2017) and #22 (May 21, 2020) . . .

Chess is about hatred, if you do not hate your opponent, then how are you supposed to win?

i hate chess the more i play the worse i get I've bought 2 books don't seem to help me I've smashed 2 phones you really have to hate yourself (I do) or be really good and just hate everyone else I HATE CHESS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

You're 400, 400 rated chess players don't need books. Just do puzzle rush and chillax.

Or your pawn is one square up too much when you just need that line for your rook to cross... yes it is maddening at the higher levels, it's training for solidness of mind!
