I had someone challenge me to a 3 day per move daily game. Normally, I only will play 1 day per move daily games but this time I accepted the challenge because they had just "friended" me. We got about 20 moves into the game and they timed out --- incredible. What a waste of time.

Just wanted to let people know that daily is like an open book test. You are allowed to use data bases and chess books, the only thing that is always banned is chess engines. Using an engine/program or help from another player are the only ways to cheat at daily. Those are the rules, you should know the rules before you play it.

People use the analysis to and find the best moves. I like daily a lot now. You are technically cheating if you are using explorer of analysis because moves of computer or the Super GMs show up in the explorer.

No, you’re not cheating. That’s like saying memorizing computer moves before a game is cheating.

I have zero worries about people cheating in daily because it will just artificially pump up their ratings to the stratosphere and so I won’t even be playing them.
What about the people cheating whose ratings have not gone through the roof yet? I mean, if they want to sit there for 2 weeks watching me play their chess engine….wow I didn’t know people were so interested in watching me play I must be super awesome.
