I have 1 win, 1 draw, and 8 losses in my last 10 games...

Well you can see them in my game archive... I seem to making the dumbest of blunders... or my opponents keep outplaying me...
Before you make a move, double-check to see if your opponent has an obvious winning response (like capturing a hanging piece for free).

Don't hang pieces? :) To be fair, I have a lot of trouble following this advice as well.
I used to be a 1900 in Online Chess.. I'm a 1460 in OTB USCF....
I know the things that you are saying... (Joe and Gargle)
I just lost another one on mouse slip, that wasnt my fault that time..
1) Think! That's why I play 30/0 you have much more time
2) Remember to watch out for double attacks
and don't play so many games, do

I agree; tactics are of the utmost importance. After making a move, just relax your mind for a while, then take a look to the position again to check that you've not made any obvious errors. As for being outplayed... only studying and experience can help.
