I do not have fide rating. I know the basic tactics and my rating is about 1300-1400 in chess.com approx.

During  openings when opponent plays d4 or c4 I struggle. I am good at e4 openings during white but I struggle during black.

My another problem is I do chess tactics in chesstempo and my rating is about 1800 but still I cannot think chess tactics during the middle of a real game. Please suggest what to do in these 2 days.

One more thing is in middle game I do not know what to move. I know basic strategy like controlling center etc. but during middle game I could not find the best move.

When I think too much during a game or get tensed I lose pieces.

What can I do in 2 days to atleast improve little bit and go to state level.

Pls. friends suggest something I can do to improve atleast something. I know little bit about openings, endgames, tactics but still fail.

Your chess.com live chess ratings are all at or below 1000. That is not bad for a 13 year old. There is no need to misrepresent yourself.

You haven't played much slow chess. It takes practice to get used to taking advantage of all that time. Most kids blitz out all their moves. Try to calm yourself and use your time to ask yourself questions about what your opponent's last move is trying to do, whether your pieces are all protected, etc. Simple steps to help prevent blunders can make a huge difference.

Thanks! and one more question does tactics training and blind fold chess really increase your rating.

I think tactics training is very useful but I only do it for short periods. It seems to me that I see more after doing a half dozen problems. I have never tried to work through and memorize the whole set of thousands of problems. It is true that as you get better, certain tactical opportunities start to become obvious. I don't believe that you can speed up the process much by long sessions of hundreds of randomly themed problems.

I haven't really tried blindfold

Do not start to study "theory" between now and tomorrow. You do not have time to learn theory between now and then.

One thing you could do is to look at the Game Explorer for games you have played with people like your friend and know you might be facing tomorrow.  It says you have played him four times as white and each time he played 1..c5 the Sicilian in response to your e4. In every game, you played 2 Bc4 which is not a good move.  He played 2..e6 and was equal. You can look at the database of master games to see what  alternatives you had.

You could go through your games and see if there are other people you know who you might face.

You do have time to start checking if your pieces are hanging before you make a move.

That alone will make a big difference in your results.

This is the most crucial of all the answers. Also, drink water.
