all be it.. im just a beginner and havent won many games..when i do win a hard one..it is awesome

Your opponent queened and you won on time... that's not really winning a hard fought game.

Nevermind the jackasses, winning on time is an acceptable way of winning, it proves you asked your opponent questions he couldn't answer in time. Keep it up mate.

CUrules, 25 minutes regardless is an agreement to play a chess game.  If the person doesn't complete in that time, then it is a true win.  Every win is great.  Glad to hear of people who have fun winning at chess, and aren't bored with it.

By the way CuRules it was never my intention to discourage you from playing... As any premium member can see if they go to the back of my games archive from a few months ago. I used to play exactly like you.

Truth be told u should have lost that game u played mate hard faught or not. But the clock is all part of the game in live chess so well done on winning.

You should not move ur queen out so often or early just as a tip and make sure ur pieces dont get taken by watching where u place them helps too.

Ian...looking at that game, how can you say one or the other deserved to win...did you see the last 3 moves in that game?  I still couldn't tell who was going to win.
