I'm wondering how I get a provisional rating, and standard rating. Do I need to fill out a form, of do something special, or just play 26 games and uscf arbiters just enter it?

Your rating is provisional until you complete 25 rated games. Then it becomes established.

Dang!!! I have played around 30 games and have settled at a 1330 rating. You must have had an amazing tournament to get that rating.

To obtain a USCF (United States Chess Federation) rating, you need to participate in rated chess tournaments organized by the USCF or its affiliates. These tournaments are where your performance is tracked and used to calculate your rating.

Here's a breakdown of the process:

  1. 1. Join the USCF:
First, you'll need to become a member of the USCF.
  2. 2. Find Rated Tournaments:
Look for tournaments listed on the USCF website or other chess organization websites. These events will be specifically labeled as "rated".
  3. 3. Play in the Tournament:
Participate in the tournament, playing each game according to the tournament rules.
  4. 4. Rating Calculation:
Your results in those games will be used to calculate your rating based on your performance against other players.
  5. 5. Maintain and Improve:
Your rating will be updated periodically as you play in more rated tournaments. To improve your rating, you should play regularly and seek out challenging opponents.

Why did a moderator attack my post ? Probably the same moderator that hacked into one of my old accounts. This was my account I closed it, but a moderator has been using it for about 4 year's now.

Moderators can't get access to accounts. It's possible the username on your old account was given to another member (the account would not have been). Closed accounts don't get reopened unless the person requesting it has access to the account email otherwise
