You've joined the right site. When I first came here in April I knew little more then the rules of chess. Since then I have been progressing through the Mentor Lessons. I am catching on to better moves and a rudimentary knowledge of pawn structure. Now I can make prophylactic moves which keep me out of a lot of trouble. Mentor is not a quick fix. It takes time to learn, but time at mentor is well spent.
Jail house chess players cam be very tough. They probably have to be. Give it some time and Mentor will probably bring you up to speed. Watch the Video Lessons too. Turn based chess games could also help lift your game.
Hello to all. I just joined this site in hopes of getting help with a game that a friend that is in jail wanted to start playing with me. I don't really know how to play the game that well at all and he dose. Would anyone be willing to help me out and share there knowledge with me?
