not all the time though, I had just lost 2 games before that, so I was kinda mad 😡

I am simply giving you an answer to your question. You chose to ignore it, and deflect to something else.
never said I wasn't going to try it. I was simply showing that I don't always move so fast, I think you jumped to that conclusion upon viewing one game I've played.

So I often find myself up a lot of material in the opening (through traps and forks), only to blunder it all away and end up losing 😡. I try to think about my moves, but a lot of the time I just end up getting over-confident and miss simple things (like the fact that my rook is being attacked). Any advice? Thanks 😪.
Playing nothing but speed chess doesnt give you time to think.
I do play rapid too, I just was doing more blitz lately
