Just keep playing bro. record and study your games. have a someone whom you think plays better than yoiu analyse your games with you.

The bigest thing for me was making sure my pieces were always safe. It's so easy to have a great game going and then forget to protect your knight!

My advice would be to start playing games here. That way you will get a rating and can play others of a similar strength. The amount of games you win and lose is not very relevant. I could play poorly and beat some one ranked 800 or play brilliantly and lose to someone ranked 2000.
