Hmm, you joined 7 minutes ago. I guess we have to take your word that you are 2300-2400 here.
You should look at the comparison work done by Smarterchess on self-reported ratings initially published here --https://www.chess.com/blog/smarterchess/chess-rating-comparison-2016
And later on his separate website- https://chessgoals.com/rating-comparison/
It reported that reported lichess ratings were substantially higher than chess.com's at lower levels but that there was a crossover at about 2300 in blitz.
Hello guys, wanted to know if you have had a similar experience.
I am around 2300-2400 on chess.com but am struggling a lot on Lichess. As far as I know, it is a well known “fact” that Lichess ratings are inflated compared to chess.com. However, I have been trying to improve my Lichess elo for a while now to no avail. I am barely able to maintain 2200 level, with quite a large sample size of games. I am clearly playing a lot worse as I am blundering pieces frequently.
Have any of you experienced something similar to this? It could be the interface or animations that I am not used to but I can’t pinpoint. Do you have any advice on how to overcome this problem?
