Ur better than me lol. To make you feel better, I was playing a 15+10 game 2day. +7 points of material. And then my internet basically said to me , "I HATE YOU" and decided to turn off. And guess what? I lost the game. Up 7 points of material.

You are in the top 1.6% of players in rapid. You do not suck. You just have bad days! We all do, and they all suck, every time.

Start a new account, select "advanced player" and don't ever play rated.

KnightOfLafayette

study your opening

Chachan_chess

Play rapid games instead of blitz or bullet

blueemu

I once lost 400 rating points in less than a second.

... that was when chess.com changed their rating system, though. So it wasn't exactly tilt.

Everyone sucks get over it.

I like that advice. The younger you are, the more likely you are to play short time controls-- because it's more exciting and/or requires less patience. That used to be called "speed chess" and no one took it seriously. No matter how skilled you are, you aren't playing your best game if you only have a few seconds per move.

We all suck. Just ask Stockfish.

I really like rapid, the title of the forum was a bit of an exaggeration, I am young but even if lose playing is fun!

thedelcai

Well, at chess.com, "Rapid" isn't really very rapid... even at 10/0 games can last 20 minutes, and losing on time isn't common. If I'm in the mood for live chess, I usually play 10/0, btw, though I wish they had 10/2 (you can select it under custom time control but good luck getting a challenge accepted).

I like that you're having fun. That's the bottom line. It's not exactly a secret that many play chess because they're trying to prove how smart they are, and may or may not actually find it enjoyable, or even play at all if they didn't win enough to bolster their self-esteem-- or if there were no rating system so that they could offer, or hope someday to offer, proof of their own supposed superiority.
