I think I'm improving

Once I think about it, I've noticed that about three years ago, my standard rating hovered around the upper 1400s. At around one year ago, my rating jumped around the lower 1500s (around 1530). Then, a few weeks ago, I've noticed that hover-point was the upper 1500s (around 1590).

So why do I post this?

Just to share my observation with you all; to share a revelation that playing lots of games (and doing my daily three tactics trainer problems) does help you improve (especially if you play against computers, which I do, where you always have to be quick on your feet).

I also post this to ask a question: is this rate of improvement particularly fast or normal for my training level?

Your training level is just playing games then?  3 tactics a day is almost nothing.

Some people stay the same playing strength for years.  So I guess your progress is pretty normal considering.

UPDATE:

My rating, which used to hover around the 1590's mark, is now hopping around the 1630s or 1640s. What an achivement!
