I think my opponent accidentally resigned

Hello!

I think my opponent accidentally resigned because he was in a completely winning position in a game of daily chess. As this rarely happens, I am wondering if there is any mechanism to retrieve this game or to change the score of the game.

I know that it is highly unlikely, but if you know something, please share it with me.

I wouldn't worry about it.

It looks like your opponent accidentally quit the site too.

He only joined this morning and closed his account already.

This is not the game I was thinking about.

Regardless of the specific game, is something like that even possible?

Someone can accidentally resign. Some players begin Daily games without really understanding what they are, and may resign because they really don't want to play that format or just have too many other games. Another possibility is they thought they were losing.
