This is how the rating works, everyone gets stuck at some level
I Thought Being High-rated Was Fun...
Do you do anything chess related except playing countless chess games? You should solve puzzles frequently, get some chess books (preferably from IM Jeremy Silman, that helped me a lot), and most importantly, if you lose 2-3 games in a row, you should take a break.
#2 yes if they don't take chess seriously.
Cough I tilted so much
It's because of your new pfp I think
I can't gain rating anymore. I have been stuck here at 1800-1900 rapid for the past 6 or 7 so months. I don't know if improving is possible. Is this normal? It sure doesn't feel normal: (

True.
For one thing, the how many hours you spend daily in studying and analyzing chess can't increase beyond some amount when you've got a job and maybe kids. Or college/school studies.
And for the other, even pro chess players (pro means it's their job playing chess) studying like 8 hours a day almost every day, do reach a peak level some day, if 2400, 2500 or 2600, and never really get above it.
Then, eventually, one grows old, and well, maintaining oneself to that peak level becomes a sport alone, then, becomes just, plain and simply, impossible, when age takes its token out of your results.

Sounds to me like you've found your level honestly. Be glad it's a lot higher than other players
