I Used to Have a Public Forum Thread.

Dear Chessnuts, many posts from @Bowerick have recently disappeared from this thread as a result of the moderators banning him.

I apologize if the thread reads poorly now.

@Bowerick was a great contributor to the humor and ethical well-being of these forums.  Unfortunately, he was banned for "illegal behaviour" in online chess.

I, for one, regret the loss of his contributions.

In the past couple months, I have lost three Chessnut Colleagues to "illegal behaviour" -- @JoeyDeVivre, @JohnMusacha, and @BowerickWowBagger.  All contributed with verve to the forums.  They will be missed.

And life goes on, in our sleepy little chess town.

Are you speaking of the group Chess Nuts or are you using that term to refer to the chess.com population in general?

Sorry, but I have a strong mental association with the group name, so that is the way I keep initially reading your posts. Then afer I think for a second I conclude that perhaps the second interpretation is correct.

I'm using "Chessnuts" as a term of endearment, as referring to any serious student of the game.  I didn't know there was a "Group" on Chess.com with the same name.
