Under an old account i gave a few 1 month diamond memberships to people. Not one of them did anything with it.

Most companies that do free trials do it exactly the same way. X number of days free and then charge if you don't cancel. The site also has a 30-day refund guarantee for those requesting it for the first time, so even if you forget, you can utilize that.
