Lol, thanks for the morning laugh, well done.
I WANT TO BECOME THE NUMBER ONE CHESS YOUTUBER!

No, sorry.
To be popular on youtube you must have the charisma, the looks, and bring a really interesting and entertaining content.
You lack all of that.
I do not mean to offend you, but since (I guess) you are looking for an honest opinion then I will tell you.
I got bored after watching about 30 seconds of your video. Some random dude playing bullet chess and getting owned all the time is not something that will go viral.

Wow those videos man. Entertaining and educational. Keep going! Maybe one day you'll be the next Kingscrusher! After 30 seconds of the video I just wanted more and more.

No, sorry.

You need looks? Arguably the most popular was back yard professor. A dumpy old man in jeans.
It's about attitude. The kid has a lot of energy. His channel could be popular.
IMO what's lacking is content. I don't really care about watching speed games.
Which is something to think about OP, you want to have a target audience in mind. Maybe I'm not part of your target audience, so speed games are fine. But for example if you want to be popular among players rated 1200 to 1800 maybe you could take random games of players in that range and analyze them.
And not analyze them by talking about everything that's interesting to you (not necessarily anyway) but you have to think what's interesting (or useful) to your audience.

Looks is not an absolute MUST but it definitely helps a lot when it comes to becoming a popular youtuber. The majority of really popular youtubers are really good looking.
But I agree that the attitude is the most important thing. However just having energy is not enough, it needs to look genuine, it needs to look natural and efortless. In other words, you need real charisma, and this guy does not have it.
If he really wants to become popular among the chess community then I think he needs to completely change his content (Start making things that others have not done before, because you can find tons of bullet games anyway), and really work on the personality he is showing in front of the camera.
Looks do help. Look at IM John Bartholomew. He's so dreamy. Ive subscribed, and its fair to say im not there for the chess.
Oh!!! hoho :)
u a chick or gay?
also OP, you can, get thousands of subs, but you won't become the no. 1 chesstuber. But who says the amount of subs matters? You can make the best stuff out there with 47 subs! However you must upload frequently!!
I actually have a channel that has emmased 4117 subs.

He is a troll who pretends he is gay.

I agree about the charisma thing. Also about being yourself and it has to seem natural. Energy is a good place to start I think, just trying to be encouraging. I think he could get there.

Do not edit your videos like that. It is supposed to be a chess channel, not a comedy one.
Good luck with your channel.

The Backyard Professor was "popular" only because he was absolutely clueless about his subject matter, yet was very prolific and extremely confident in his (non-existent) abilities. This makes for a spectacle.
It's much harder to get popular as a real chess player / entertainer.
I actually thought his video "Silman Way: Powerful and Logical" was actually a parody, and a hilarious one. It's the rawest form of entertainment - comedy. Real chess is actually intellectual, and so there will be far fewer people interested.

Either way to dethrone the great genius Kingscrusher is a seemingly impossible task for any man.
He's not only the greatest Chess YouTuber, but arguably the greatest YouTuber to ever live.

I remember seeing someone like that in chess.com, maybe Backyard's Professor ghost?
Do I have the potential?
