Hi, I saw one of your games and I think I know what you can do to improve dramatically your game.

First, you have to learn how to defend. I am talking about very simple, basic things. For example, in one of your games (against Dustin Lubinger) you did several serious mistakes rather already in the first moves.

1. On move 2 your opponent was losing a pawn, but you did not take it. A pawn is a pawn.

2. On move 3 you gave a pawn for nothing. A pawn is a pawn, you should not give material just like this!

3. On move 6 the knight attacked your bishop. Usually players do not like to exchange the bishop for a knight if not necessary. You should bring your bishop back and later send the knight away by attacking it with a pawn.

4. On move 9 your opponent played a4, obviously with the intention to attack your queen with the bishop on a3. You castled (big mistake), your queen was attacked and here you would lose the rook on f8.

5. After white attacked the queen on move 10 you went with your knight on b4  - another huge blunder, as white could attacked the pinned knight with c3.

And so on and so on.

Okay, here is a plan to improve your game.

Learn defense in chess. One of the best books that I know for your level is

    1. "Learn Chess the Right Way - Book 3: Mastering Defensive Technique"

  1. by Susan Polgar. You can purchase this book in Chessable.com, it is rather cheap and you will not regret it. The cool thing about Chessable is that you will learn by spaced repetition (Google it if you don't know what it is, or check the information on Chessable).

    1. Second, you have to learn a lot of tactics. You can train tactics here or with one of the several apps that you can buy, but I also recommend you to learn tactics in Chessable (because you will learn very quick with spaced repetition). A great book for your level (and it is also good for my level also) is
1001 Chess Exercises for Beginners

After you invested a lot of time learning all the exercises you should start with this one

Mastering Mates 2: 1,111 Two-move, Three-move & Four-move Mates

These three books are enough for the moment. You should also follow opening principles when playing (ask in the forum what are these opening principles, somebody will be happy to explain them to you; you can also google it).

I hope I could help you and feel free to ask me what you want. If you want we can check one of my Daily Games and go through them together. In this way I can explain you some opening principles and other things.
Cheers
