i want to learn and i cant
Hola Bor
You are playing too quickly. You must player longer games so you can look at the game. Please play 5 minute games or longer.
How old are you? The younger you are, the more you will improve.
Best wishes, Heather
Chessdotcom that made me laugh quite a bit. Yes, bullet chess is not the way to go for improvement. You have to be able to think critically, notice patterns and recognize key moments. Difficult to do that with 1-3 seconds per move and no studying
..you can learn by playing, thats the rule of chess! you can learn by learning but not chess!
It's a big misconception among people that you can become a master by just playing and without studying lessons, tactics or books. There are advanced techniques and methods (for endgame or opening theory) developed over hundreds of years. Nobody can derive all these by simply thinking on his/her own. We have to study to improve. Do you think he will understand concepts such as Lucena position, Philidor position or opposition by just playing bullet games? No chance. Studying is the first step. Playing is the second step.
