I Was Reported For Cheating, but I wasn't. Am I In the Clear?
Hello everyone, I was minding my own business, playing a few bullet games to farm trophies to stay in the number one spot in the champion league. However, I was faced with an alarming discovery: the person whom I had faced (and beaten) had accused me of cheating. How did I feel? A bit annoyed at first, but I realised he had reported me. In the last ten seconds of the game, he refused to play, and now I'm unsure - will I be banned? Or am I in the clear? I certainly wasn't cheating, played every move almost in less than a second, and had an accuracy of one more point than my opponent. Am I cooked?
If you played fairly, then you’re clear. If someone reports you (or if multiple reports if a smaller infraction, then a chess.com staff member looks at your account and determines what happens. The Fair Play team is a separate department of staff. You’ll be all right if you played fairly.
