I wish chess.com would implement some new features

Yesterday I played a guy with 70 games on his account and 66 winning. Game started well for me, he lost some pawns, couldn’t castle… and then suddenly a switch in his play style and he totally demolished me out of nowhere. I was up the material, in better position too but 4-5 turns it took him to totally turn the game around, paralyse me and suddenly I couldn’t even move a single piece whilst his pieces were just…Perfect. All of them. His pawns, doubled, isolated… But standing more than perfectly in the best spots. And then, he just executed me, truly an artist this one… I reported him for cheating, but chess.com believes he’s good and legit, just a newbie being on his 60 winning games streak, nothing suspicious. Hikaru with 37 games streak is total amateur compared to him.

Now how am I supposed to trust anyone, please do tell me.

I wish there was an option to avoid playing people from certain countries or under certain amount of games played and stuff like that. Or to avoid people who have 97 % win ratio at 1600 rapid. Give me the option, please

The fact that chess.com hasn't removed someone doesn't mean that they are innocent. It just means that there was not conclusive proof.

And it is also possible that you just lost. It sounds like it would be an interesting game to look at.

You should join the Cheating Forum club to discuss more. Cheating discussions and accusations are not allowed in the main forum. You could post your game in the Cheating Forum if you remove the identifying info.

That game looks completely normal.

The site employs a full team of staff to handle fair play and invests heavily in both automated and manual processes to handle the issue.

The vast majority of cheat reports are against players that are not cheating. The spectre of cheating is more prevalent than actual cheating.

The site closed 56,000+ accounts in April for fair play violations and has a full team of staff working on reports along with some automated systems for detection.

That said, discussions of cheating, potential cheating, or cheat detection are not allowed in the general forums. If you would like to discuss join the following club. https://www.chess.com/club/cheating-forum
