You know the moment at a chess tournament when you are struggling to beat a guy 200 points lower rated than you and he dodges all your traps somehow, but the 2300 guy on your left blunders his rook, and you go "Why can't my opponent play like that"?

Hahaha, yeah.

Or the guy beside me opens with some really bad gambit line, and their game is over in 25 moves, while my opponent plays some boring solid thing and after 60 moves I get a draw.

You feel like asking "why can't I play the guy who is throwing away points?"
