I'll drink to that!

Why they write on other people wall´s if they can erase it easily?
I don´t understand that.
Once a member wrote on my wall "he is really an engine, because only a 2000 level person would move so fast, you would think for a while that he is a human, but then you realize that he is not".
It´s nice in one way to be called an engine, but it was just because I took like 40 seconds to do the first 20 moves in a 30 min game (since I ALWAYS play the scandinavian with Qa5, and many things are automatic...).
My favorite comment was a guy insisting i'm a guy. Told me that my only talent is making love to the farmer's sheep at midnight
oh and for what it's worth, I find most people here are pretty smart, and definitely nice. I always have to remind my mom that just because a cashier wasn't nice doesn't mean the entire Target company is full of "rude people" haha
guy 1 doesn't sound like a douchebag, sushi; in fact you come off worse when you complain about someone attempting to start a conversation.
In blitz I have found some opponents try to start a conversation to distract you and waste your time .This is gamesmanship and unacceptable.

And is incredibly easy to avoid just by not reading? Damn y'all got some thin skins.
ive noticed that the indian players on here are real douchebags/socially awkward outcasts.
1 guy:
game begins, see this in chat "hi what is ur name n where r u from?" i didnt know chess was an interview.
wtf?
guy 2:
wins and then "lol stupid american" and offers me a rematch? blunders his queen, destroy him, dont say anything because i hate talking on live chess, and then he offers another rematch. i decline, and set another challenge offer. THIS SAME GUY clicks on it and expects me to play him again.
guy 3:
the game is in a draw position, all i have to do is move a bishop back and forth for a while, and he will lose. have 2 rooks vs a queen, and he wont accept the draw. my king was protected, and he literally wanted to play out 300+ moves until the time ran out.
Not as bad as having a guy think you're a girl and try to seduce you.

That is no small talent. Midnight is well past bedtime for sheep, and they sleep lying down in a most inaccessible fashion.
Or so I've heard.
I am Indian, therefore It doesn't because I have dealt with this crap on a regular basis
Assuming you're telling the truth... You're Indian, and you're playing on this site.
I was thinking of the old "Pot meets Kettle," but that isn't quite right. Even so, it's still a generalization.

That's not a bad insult, more original than most here.
Vincero
Your opponent would have been far more polite, had she been within arm's reach of you.

The cloak of anonymity on the internet can bring out the worst in some people.
Was watching a game today that ended with Q/R vs Q/B/B/N. The Q/R "forced' a draw, and the other was calling him a cheater. Simliar to the topic, but how can you be a cheater if you put yourself in a position to be either drawn or mated?! =(
Some people are sore losers and think they know everything. I read a comment from a 1500 that said he always plays the 100% best move. I couldn't stop laughing for 10 minutes since I've seen mistakes Kasparov made when going over a game of his from a database for calculation training where he moved a knight back instead of moving from d7 to f6. Then again the Smirnov lessons of moving back is typically a mistake and moves forward are better were fresh in my mind. It was against Judit Polgar (who herself oddly didn't play an obviously best move at one point I think it was the same game) and I'll post the game for refrence if I can find it.
Edit: here is the game. Yes I know my commentary and variations aren't perfect but just wanted to bring up how even the best players don't always make the best moves and thus illustrating the ludicrousness of a 1500 USCF saying he always makes the best move. I did computer check it after I was done the game study. It was one of my favorites to look at.
Q/B/B/N is superior to Q/R. Hell, Q/B/B or even Q/B/N is superior to Q/R all else being equal (in practice it usually isn't to be fair due to piece coordination and positioning) as six material points are worth more than five, or in the bishop pair's case 6.50 or even 7.
Exactly, thats what im saying, that for that rule to work you got click the button XD
