It shouldn't be impossible as we can trap a Queen or Knight anyway... Yeah but the probability would be low Since No one would put their King in a intense position...

Well as a queen it would be nearly impossible and as a knight it would just be annoying.

If that were the case then a typical chess game ended by checkmate would last around 300 moves.
