If cheaters are getting banned why am i never getting my rating refunded.

Whether chess.com is actively doing something about cheaters (although their bans per month are going down and cheating is surely not) is not allowed to be discussed apparently. Maybe they're doing some sort of new cheat detection and their current method is taking a back seat idk. What i would like to know is how across like 1200 games on this account I have gotten ONE SINGULAR cheater detected and refunded. You would be an absolute fool to believe that there really has been only one cheater in 1200 games so why am I not getting any refunds or anything. Back on a previous account it wouldn't be uncommon for me to log in after a week and get like 5 games refunded. What am I doing wrong that I am not getting refunded practically ever.

There are limits on refund but appears you have only had two of your opponents, that you lost to, closed for fair play violations.

The site still has automated systems as well as a full team of staff dedicated to fair play.

The site closed 56,000+ accounts in April for fair play violations and has a full team of staff working on reports along with some automated systems for detection.

That said, discussions of cheating, potential cheating, or cheat detection are not allowed in the general forums. If you would like to discuss join the following club. https://www.chess.com/club/cheating-forum
