No the bot isn’t him and it is meant to not play perfectly you could probably never beat Carlson in the same way you beat the bot because the bots blunder on purpose they try not to be perfect
Avatar of Programmer08
Well they don’t blunder on purpose but they just don’t have the same knowledge or patterns recognized as the actual guy

But technically...I could be a Grandmaster.

No. Grandmaster Magnus,

It’s not a whole if I beat number 4 do i become number 4 hence forth just because you beat someone or a bot of someone with a GM title you don’t become a GM and also bots are a bit weird and actually play a bit lower than there actual rating.

You can only get the GM title if you play in some big tournament and play really well. Also defeating a GM does not make you a GM.

To get the grandmaster title, you have to reach a FIDE rating of 2500, and achieve 3 Grandmaster norms. Even if you beat him is OTB, you still would not receive the title unless you reach the requirments.

no, because bots actually have multiple rules they cannot break

for example, by "closing" a position and stalling, you can FORCE the bot to make a dumb move as they cannot stall, stalemate or resign

Can you tell me the reasoning behind this

if ur highest rating is 637, then no, you are not a grandmaster

Beating Magnus carlsen bot Doesnt mean u should be a Grandmaster

If u have More chance of winning that Magnus Then u Should be proud of urself

[ Without Using Stockfish or any chess engine ofc ]

This is obviously not true. I had many draws vs bots.

I had draws against bots that ended in repetition. If that's the best, the bot will take it.
