I'm playing a tournament this weekend and I'm a d4 player. I'm just scared of the Englund Gambit as I've seen many traps that Black can play. What is the best way to respond to black if they do this?

Taking on e5 is the strongest response. I would recommend practicing strong play from that position. That should yield great results.

Without going into too much detail if you key into Google "how to beat the Englund Gambit" it will show a youtube videos list showing you how easy it is with the right sequence of moves to leave black in a totally lost position👍

Take the Pawn and then give it back in return for some other advantage?

That should give equal material but a better game for White.

The Englund Gambit is not a feasible opening, no player above 1500 is going to play it in tournaments. This is the main trap refuted.
