If super GM'S were to draw every game in a round robin, what is it to you?

1/3 for a draw is good

Messing with the scoring system won't reduce the number of draws. These guys are playing for the win already. Football scoring (3 points for a win, 1 for a draw) have been used in several tournament with almost no change in the draw rate.

There are two proven ways to reduce the number of draws:

• Invite a mix of players, not just the top 10 players. This has been successful in Norway and Wijk Aan Zee where they invite some of the best players, but reserve spots for local talent, young players, and top female GMs
• Speed up the game. There were far fewer draws in the World Rapid Championships and in the tie-breaks

Just because a game is a draw does not make it boring
