I would make a rule stating that I can remove my own pawns in stead of moving them if I so choose.

I should be able to castle through or while in check, and even after I have moved my king as long as the pieces go back to their original position.

I've encountered that before.
I would make Armageddon rules official which would end draws and stalemates. White gets more time but if there is a draw, black wins.

That would be good in blitz rounds. But on rapid, different story.
Pawns moving sideways! Or "Overpromotion" to a king when a pawn reaches the 1st or 8th rank

My rule would be - U win the game when you take your opponent's king.
don't need to call out checks, just take the king if they're not careful

You don’t even have to call out checks now. It’s just something in online chess and what some choose to do OTB. No compulsion.
