I would make a rule stating that I can remove my own pawns in stead of moving them if I so choose.
You have 2 extra pieces that can move to any unoccupied square on the board and block your opponent and you.
pawns can move 2 squares (torpedo chess) or there is a new piece (8x9 board) with the powers of a knight and bishop, worth 7 points
That would be a hawk.
I should be able to castle through or while in check, and even after I have moved my king as long as the pieces go back to their original position.

I've encountered that before.
I would make Armageddon rules official which would end draws and stalemates. White gets more time but if there is a draw, black wins.

That would be good in blitz rounds. But on rapid, different story.
don't need to call out checks, just take the king if they're not careful
You don’t even have to call out checks now. It’s just something in online chess and what some choose to do OTB. No compulsion.
Chess must be played with chocolate pieces. If you checkmate the other King, you get to eat it, and all of your remaining pieces.
Lmaoooo
> "If you could add a new rule to chess, what would it be?"
No whining.
Lol +1
