if you know

Someone find out and send me a list organized by state of everyone who bought brown shoes last year in the US please.
I know it sounds like a lot of work but I don't want to do it.

common areas = heavily populated areas = known good squares for peices in chess.
The answer to the second question is implied -- the smarter people watching the movie would know that just positioning their craft over common areas would not acheive the best result. Much better to blow away the leaders of the US rather than the general population. That's strategic.
And who put the leaders there? If they didn't appeal to the general population, they wouldn't be elected!

He sounds like he has a philisophical side to him with his opinion on why people use the word strategy in certain contexts.
As far as him posting on the same topic, I can relate too. I have had two topics started regarding ratings. (slightly different) I have always been a stats person, reading player's box scores in the paper. There really shouldn't be a problem with posting a continued topic... that is only in my opinion. But I agree that these forum threads are littered with subjects on ratings, resigning, etiquette, cheating, bishop or knight, etc etc.
