Im 2200 rapid!

Masterclass of a game. I think my ceiling is much much higher than 2200 but I hate rapid so I will be starting road to 2300 after hopefully 2600 bullet.


I was technically 2200 before this game because I played Alex Banzea’s speedrun account but I didn’t get the refund till now; Heres how our game went if ur curious.

He had only one minute in the position where I hung my queen while I had 7-8. I fully beleive I wouldve won if I didn’t hang my queen.

Neat, blitz at 2400s so getting to 2300 rapid shouldn't be hard

My main problem is not my chess ability but the time control. I can’t be finishing a game with 8 minutes on the clock. If I actually use my time I should gain alot of rating.

Opposite for me, I'll flag in the middlegame in rapid. But sounds like you just don't like rapid, why force yourself to play it then?

Well it’s 2200 which is fitting for 2200 rapid. I don’t really want to change my username tho many ppl know me as gmlightining2200 and it’s basically my name on discord, twitch etc. so i don’t prefer changing it. However I will say that’s what I planned when I choose my username. I was indeed 2200 at the time lol

I am preparing myself to play classical in the future. I don’t exactly hate rapid but it can be boring in very boring positions while in blitz and bullet u can finish the game quickly and move to a more exiticing position. I am playing rapid to get used to taking my time basically.
