Im a bad loser.

I don't think those tests are meant to be taken seriously. They are just for fun.
You've played over 4000 long games. That's more I've ever played in my life! I've probably played more blitz games than you in my life, though since I havn't really learned the skill of playing long games I am not very good at blitz nonetheless.
From your termonology I gathered you probably have a few chess books under your belt. I see your tactics rating is low, perhaps that is the next part of the puzzle for you, just do more tactics...? I would say do a little each day and if you havn't already done so pick a tactical motif themed book or two (or maybe 3 or 4, just start with one though ;)...) and do those puzzles until you can do them in your sleep.

I would also like to add, given bgjettguitar's last two posts, that I believe your problem is not as bad as you make it out to be. Yeah he is probably trying to steer you into the right direction but I don't believe that advice is really for you. We all as chess players go through a point of time where we play people that do retarded openings and we are "overconfident." I've done that in my own games and keep doing it. The thing you have to realize is this, just because they play a stupid opening, doesn't neccessarily mean that they are a weak player. They probably play that way to throw their opponents off. A mistake made a lot in bullet, as they will reach a barrier on their rating and will begin to wonder why...
All and all I think the main reason why you arn't better than you already are is because of your tactics rating, but maybe you practice tactics on chesstempo and don't like chess.com's timer ... idk, what I know is your tactics is way low, lower than mine, and that's very bad, because I don't really know much tactics at all.
Your emotional episodes are just a mild road block, easily fixed. I'm sure it's been fixed already by bgjettguitar and Steve.

I see now that your last post was just a joke :D Well, in part ;)

I'm very similar. It's kind of why I don't play much. I love Chess, I really like watching two people play and I do like playing but I'm a pretty poor, and during the game my emotions and impatience get the better of me and influence my next "move". This is probably why I miss things and make stupid mistakes, which adds to the frustration.
It's sp easy for people to point and highlight flaws and immaturity, but it's sad that the person can't change so easily. It's not all about practice, it's about changing the way you think, which is difficult. Some people just don't have the right mind for chess.

Ok, OP. Here are my two cents.
You played about 4700 standard games. Make it 5000 by the end of the year and then stop! Take a break for a year. Take a break from playing. Use the time to learn new things. Read the articles by IM Silman GM Serper and others. Watch videos on YouTube. If you can afford it, purchase Premium Membership (maybe Gold will do) and do a few chess mentor courses every day. Channel your energy from anger and cultivate patience. Results will follow. Remember, the chess board & chess pieces return you neither love nor hate. It's what you have you channel into them and they merely return it back to you. :) I hope I was helpful.

If you win give yourself a chocolate; if you lose give yourself two chocolates.
I like to talk to my cat after a loss; she knows as much or more than I do about chess.
This is not helpful, but it will do no harm.

religion wont work for me. im a deist, all beliefs and ideas integrated, but nothing committal. im close to athiest, i think religion is perfect for controlling people, perfect for starting wars, terrorism, etc. need i say more? im going to hell? good, its great that you think im such a terrible person.
You're not a terrible person and you know you're not. From asthma to atheism to Yahweh to volunteerism to world problems to friend's problems. You are a caring person living in a chaotic world but at the perfect time. Chess isn't the real problem. I suspect it is a distraction and losing games is less an issue than wondering and questioning how you've been utilizing time. Becoming addicted to pain and problems becomes one's identity.
The mind, to ensure that it remains in control, seeks continuously to cover up the present moment with past and future, and so, as the vitality and infinite creative potential of Being, which is inseparable from the Now, becomes covered up by time, your true nature becomes obscured by the mind. An increasingly heavy burden of time has been accumulating in the human mind. All individuals are suffering under this burden, but they also keep adding to it every moment whenever they ignore or deny that precious moment or reduce it to a means of getting to some future moment, which only exists in the mind, never in actuality.
